Welcome

Welcome to Bodymind Psychotherapy. I’m Susan Henkel, and I’m here to provide a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. In our time together, I invite you to explore whatever emotions are present—whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply what’s on your mind—with gentle curiosity.

Using the Hakomi method, I create a spacious, non-judgmental environment where you can connect with yourself on a deeper level. Here, we’ll sit with what arises, allowing it to be fully felt and processed at your own pace. Healing isn’t about pushing feelings away; it’s about giving them room to be acknowledged, understood, and moved through.

As we process the emotions and old wounds, a shift naturally begins to happen. By allowing these feelings to surface and be understood, they start to loosen their hold. In this safe space, you can connect with yourself in a new, healthier way.

You’ll begin to let go of old patterns and beliefs, and step into a more positive mindset. This shift opens up new possibilities where you feel more empowered, grounded, and at ease with who you are.

I look forward to connecting with you and creating a space where you can feel heard, safe, and open to what your journey brings.
